Taylor Swift - 100% Sold Out

I was planing on seeing a Taylor Swift concert this coming spring when she comes back to the United States, after she toured in Australia and Japan. Little did i know, if i didn't get my tickets within the first hour of them being on sale then you were S.O.L.
The tickets to the Prudential Center for both May 12th and May 13th were sold out in under 15 minutes. The Prudential Center in Newark NJ has 18,000 seats for a concert. So that means in under 15 minutes, 36,000 seats were sold on the day the tickets when on sale.
I almost wish she wasn't so popular so i could go to her show. Now the tickets to her shows range from 117$ to 2,300$. Of course the cheaper amount is for the seats all the way in the back where you need binoculars to see and the higher amount is for the good seats in the front of the venue. I don't know anyone that has 2,300 dollars for one night and one ticket.
I don't think its fair that people go out and buy like 10 tickets for only 200 dollars then wait for them to be sold out. Then they get to sell them on Ebay for 2,000 dollars each. Its a crazy price for something like that. You would think that people would let others go and enjoy themselves at the concerts but no.
This recently happened to a group of friends and I when we went to a Lady GaGa concert on January 24th. The tickets were extremely expensive originally then when people go out and buy a million tickets then sell them for top dollar you find yourself paying a lot of money. I think this should be illegal for people to sell tickets like this. Let the people enjoy the concert, and the venue get the benefits.

Ke$ha

Ke$ha is a new artist in the pop music. She has just released her debut album on January 5th 2010, and it debuted at number 1. It was the only album that debuted during that week to knock Susan Boyle off her high horse on the Billboard Top 200 Albums.
Its a really incredible debut album, it almost reminds me of Lady Gaga's debut back in October of 08'.
Ke$ha currently has 2 songs on the radio and i love them both a lot, they are titled Tik Tok (Which has since gone #1) and Blah Blah Blah ft 3OH!3.
I personally love Ke$ha, i love everything about her, she isn't like the regular annoying pop stars, she doesn't care what anyone else says, which i like.
I am not sure if she writes her own music but the way i look at it, your album should be the best of your ability and talent. If your talent is not writing songs and when you do they sound corny or dumb your best bet would be to not have to write your own songs.
Ke$ha is one of my new favorite artists, when you have such a strong debut album and you can debut at number one, then you definitely deserve some credit in the music industry. She is very talented and i believe she will be around for a long time.

The Grammy's - Fair or Unfair?

I watched the Grammys on Sunday night and i have to say that i am very impressed. At last years Grammys i would say that they were horrible because the people that won the major awards were people that i never even had heard of. And thats saying alot.
The performances were all pretty much great, (Except Lil Wayne...) but still the show as a whole was just kind of one sided, favoring Beyonce over everyone else.
There is one question going around Cyber Space, "Did Lady Gaga get cheated?" Well my answer to that question would be yes. I do feel that she was cheated on some accounts. So many people are saying that she was cheated by Taylor Swift, but the only award Taylor took from Gaga was "Album of the year".
I personally think that Taylor Swift had deserved it, just because i love her album and i still listen to it everyday even though its been out for 2 years. I also loved GaGa's album. It was an amazing album, if Taylor did not win this award then Lady Gaga definitely deserved it. There is no question about that.
When it comes down to who had the best performance i would definitely say that Lady Gaga took that award, her opening of Poker Face and then Speechless with Elton John was incredible. Beyonce's was not as good as everyone is saying. Its just like whatever, she is not that great.
The things that really annoyed me about the Grammys this year was the length of it, the red carpet was 2 hours then the show was 3 and a 1/2 hours. Like how can anyone's attention span stay focused for 5 and 1/2 hours.
Overall i feel that the Grammys were definitely a step up from last year, they raked in 25.8 million viewers, that's more then they have gotten in the past 6 years.
